"Pikininis" is the Xhosa word for "young child".  And it is with them where our heart and passion lies. 
We strongly believe if we want a healthy, strong generation growing up, we have to invest in them when they are still young! And what better way to give them great tasting and healthy food choices! 

Pikininis opened its doors in January 2009 at Universitas Primary School in Bloemfontein on request of many parents and teachers wanting a healthier tuckshop.  By their positive support we are now running for our third year and can already see the difference in the youngsters food-choices and performance!
